- Overall Team of the Year
- Plus category champions -Chicken, Pork, Beef
- The season runs November 2-November 1.
Eligibility
To earn TOY points:
- Team must be an IBA member in good standing
- Points are not awarded retroactively if membership lapses
- Points are awarded to team name, not individual cooks.
Points
- Teams earn points at every IBA contest they cook, regardless of outcome. Example (Overall or category finish):
- 1st: 250
- 2nd: 225
- 3rd: 200
- 4th: 175
- 5th: 150
- …
- 25th and below: 25
- Teams get bonus points equal to the number of teams in the contest. Example:
- 27-team contest → +27 points
- Points are tracked separately for each category and overall
- Peoples choice and ancillary categories do not count towards TOY points.
